Hi, my name is Enrico, aka Ashley. As I used the word “actually” a lot and have an accent, it sounds very much like Ashley – this is why this blog is called Pretty Good Ash.

Somebody asked me recently what this blog is about. I think this excerpt from the book Legends by Robert Littell describes it somewhat:

The ghost of a smile materialised on her lips. “You seem to have a knack for complicating simple things.”

Martin, with a cold politeness that masked how close he was to losing interest, said, “In my book, that beats simplifying complicated things.”

Complicated or simple, we all have stories to tell, whether about us, others or just random observations. We need to do this. It is good for us and it may be good for others. So these are my stories. Hope you enjoy them.
